Installed in the cabinet above the extractor hood, near the gas equipment.

## Purpose

Monitors the air for possible natural gas leaks.

## Alarm

* Audible alarm
* High-volume warning signal
* Designed to be heard throughout the apartment

## Current Configuration

The detector operates as a monitoring and warning device.

Automatic gas shutoff functionality has been intentionally disconnected.

## Reason

Automatic shutoff may disable gas supply to the apartment and require intervention from the gas utility company to restore service.

To avoid unnecessary service interruptions caused by false alarms, the detector currently functions as an alarm-only device.

## Guest Relevance

Provides an additional layer of gas safety monitoring.

If the detector activates:

1. Open windows.
2. Stop using gas appliances.
3. Contact hosts.

## Notes

The detector is located close to the gas equipment for early leak detection.
